Fandom Snowflake Challenge #6: Create something

I don't know how to @ or tag people on DW, but verhalen has a brilliant setup that I plan to adopt in the future. Well, a Completed Works masterlist might be a bit much because between listing my over 60 oneshot and just linking to my page, yknow...? what I mean is I applaud them for doing that though ^_^U
Their WIP status page gave me a lot of ideas and I hope to do the same thing-- more of a "here's top-of-mind plotbunnies + the order of my ongoing series + actual WIPs" if I ever get the multichapter fic fires burning (my ficlet collections don't count. but maybe they should hmmmm).

That being said, I wasn't sure if I'd have anything for this one. Howevverrrr, I diiiid finish Arcane a few days ago and god. god. top show of the new year so far (yes i did watch it fandom-blind, i'm so happy i diiiidd). what with a metric ton of pain, I ended up writing a small fix-it ficlet. (no i didn't post it right this second whaddya mean)

Fandom Snowflake Challenge #5:Talk About an Idea

I couldn't just talk about one idea asffhgjhjhjh

Oof. For starters there is A LOT of fanart I'd like to draw, but I have no drawing skills and keep forgetting to... figure out how to learn? idk, I've worked in words for so long my brain just short-circuits when even thinking about how to art. Perspective? Shading? How do i even get there, never mind past stick figures??? I have, however, kept a lil word doc of very detailed descriptions of fanart I'd like to draw, once I had that brilliant idea several years ago. :D (none of it's smutty yet hkhjkhjkhk let me do basic stuff first)

In the same vein-- so many GMV/AMV ideas, so little time. but mainly, knowledge of where to get clips as, um, safely as possible. I have basic editing software that is just fine so that's good and this lil thingie called realdownloader, from realplayer, that i'm praying will still work now that I've invoked its name, to grab youtube game cinematics from. uh... wanna see my dumb AMVs? I have a Youtube.... (2 dumb Furubas that got slammed I have on my google drive~)

okay okay okay but here's a few concrete ideas. I'd really like to do a shipweek for KyoxTohruxYuki, and by ship I mean platonic and romantic options bc I still think it's a sailboat. this one's mainly an energy problem, bc when I think of coming up with prompts and getting the word out on multiple platforms and maybe getting someone to do graphics i just wanna crawl under my desk afdfghgfhfghfhf

and this and the next one are still waiting in the wings.... fun fact I'm an inveterate one-shot writer (though I did mange a multichap request fic whuuuuut). I want to write multichapters? I just... rarely get plotbunnies that are plotty enough, or I feel I can make plotty enough. would love to figure out how to get better at it-- anyway. 2 multichaps I want to write enentually but again, time and energy. Both Fruits Basket, both Yukyoru.

The first one is based off a manga called Kanako's Life As An Assassin-- unnecessary note here, but in looking for info to write this post I thought i only reblogged it to tumblr and could never find it again, then remembered I linked to the original post in my YTK plotbunny file BECAUSE i'M A FRICKING GENIUS, THANK GOD. ANYWAY!!!
Yes, so, Tohru's a novice assassin ala this comic, Yuki's her bodyguard, and she starts to fall for Kyo, her latest target. ....that is literally all i have so far. gotta think up backstories and everything else, and not make Yukyo's past/secret connection handwavy, and they all end up together because DUH (oh flipping NO now i want a Red Notice AU!!! *screeches*)

The other potential multichap I have as a magical girl AU. More Madoka than Sailor Moon but idk maybe both idfk. the main plotbunny i have is Tohru rescuing magical boys Yun and Kyon. also, a showdown with Akito wwho still gets redeemed. but. idk if the Yukyoru will be established or developing or anything else about the plot. yet, somehow, I have a playlist that's also a WIP-- beginning and end, and some disparate scenes.

so... allll of this is stuff I want to Eventually Do. I think I can, i just... dunno when. or how complicated any of them might be. and oh shoot uh thanks for reading my blatherings! if you do!! I appreciate it very much!!!

Fandom Snowflake Challenge #4: Create a wishlist

this is shorter than I thought it'd be! asking for fandom stuff stuff in any capacity is weird I guess!!!

So first, the one general thing: I really there was some kind of one stop shop for info about exchanges, ship weeks, ficathons, all that kind of stuff. Easily filterable by fandom so i don't have to google a million things and turn up bupkis, or stumbles acros stuff that's already happening that I wanted to participate in :,,,) I have discovered fandom calendar and a couple of discords, which I'll talk about and share links if I can in my Challenge 7 post!!

now, onto my requests into the void.

I would die if I got any fanart for any of my fics!!!! but in particular: this To the Moon fic my YoI fic (E-rated or nah), anything Yukyoru, and.... yeah, any smutfic art but especially it's home where you hold me and burst me into bloom (i dare you to) ....it's really embarrassing linking to my smutfic but y'all might look it up anyway so... >/////<

This gets its own line but excuse my requesting art for a fic that's not even done-- a TTM fandom friend and I tried to collab for small fandom big bang but we had to drop it for health reasons, and we are both so thirsty for TTM OT4 art it's not even funny... so like. hit us up in 6 months or something XD

On that note if there is ANYONE else in the To the Moon Fandom around here I wanna be friends and scream!!!

Then. Um. Broad heading of polyships. Do you have any, what are your favs and why do you like them, do you have fandom/comm/content recs, favorite songs?! I want it all~!

Fandom Snowflake Challenge #3: AUs and Fusions

I'm an AU/fusion maniac, okay. Any fandom, any kind. I'm complete trash for mundane and/or modern AUs, especially in fandoms where the source material is Too Much for me to handle (lookin at you Attack On Titan). Canon divergence is also great, big or small. Everybody lives AUs, frickity frack yeah!!! Music/idol/Band AUs!!! (FurubaxBTS!!!)
While I'm at it, crossovers are cool too (eg multiple fandoms characters in one work), I just don't actively seek them out. For some reason.

I've seen a lot of folks saying they read fic for more of the canon world and so aren't into AUs etc, which is totally valid! Did get me thinking about how I can stil retain the "core" of characters I put into AUs, and if they're still recognizable. 

So! I've got multiple, uhh technically fusions but I've been calling them AUs in my head. The biggest offender is fusing Fruits Basket characters in other fandoms. Stuff I've actually posted so far is FurubaxUndertale (with three - scribbles -  so far) and FurubaxChihayafuru. The UT fusion is probably the biggest one, with lots of plot laid out. The Chihayafuru one is still mainly in planning stages as I'm quite taken with/not far into Chihayafuru canon, but I do have a ficlet posted.

Other planned Furuba fusions include: FurubaxZankyou no Terror (Terror in Resonance), FurubaxNoragami, and FurubaxYuri On Ice-- which ice more a bunch of ice-skating AU plotbunnies that wouldn't have been born without YoI, though some sort of actual retelling might be an interest... particularly if I fuse with my YoI polyship universe ohoho~ fun fact, Kyo's English VA also voices Victor!

uhhh where was I... oh! the most recent fusion idea I've had is FurubaxKiznaiver, both as a "normal" fusion and a seiyuu/Voice actor AU.

As for the "reverse" fusions, I've been Having Thoughts occasionally about ChihayafuruxNoragami and ChihayafuruxUT but haven't plotted/written anything. Same for UTxFuruba or xChihayafuru. I did have a brief brainrot on UTxNoragami; I should think on that more too.

Aside from my addiction to writing modern AUs for Attack On Titan, I also I've a loosely connected fantasy universe that started with this YumiKuri ficlet-- the other 2 fics are linked at this link so I won't go ham linking, ahaha.

OMG WAIT i totally have a Furuba Yukyoru fantasy universe that I need to noodle on more!!! 

And I have a disgusting amount of idol/band fusion ideas (*coughs* FurubaxBTS/Kpop AU *coughs*). and seiyuu AUs every which way h el p

And... whew, I think that's it! I honestly didn't expect to go this in depth. Obviously if any of these universes pique your interest I'm always here to blab about them!! especially FurubaxUT, aaaAAAAAAA-

Snowflake Challenge #2

 I WILL do all of these, eventually, because I wanna!! *determined face*

This challenge is all about goals, so  to start with here are mine related to the Get Your Words Out comm (i don't know how to link/@ journals, but they're on DW!)

*120 days of writing etc. -the Etc includes notes & outlining as well as actual draft writing, and editing. I'm doing a habit pledge, which is days devoted to Writing Things. Semester bullhockey has made words counts a source of anxiety for me oops~
*But I do have a sub-goal of 200 words per day. 
*Publish at least 2 tumblr drafts a month, and/or get to askbox 0 this year. -i have some verrryyy old requests and writing memes to fill out and I am DETERMINED TO FINISH THEM ALLLLLL (dunno if i'll manage 2x a month which is why askbox 0 is there too)
*Participate in at least one Big Bang. -I'm already doing this! The Small Fandom Big Bang, also on DW! But it's going very poorly, so, uh, yeah.. I hope to maintain my participation in a collab fic with compacri, but I might have to either drop out of my solo fic, or choose not to receive art so the Jan 31 first-draft deadline doesn't apply. Neither are nice choices ;_;
*Record a podfic. -I have one and only one in mind and I've wanted to do it foreverrrrr :DDD

 Wow.... I uh, made an account here and forgot about it, huh? Oopsie doodle.

Edit New Year's Day 2022: gosh i am REALLY not on here much. anyhow, the Fandom Snowflake challenge brought me back here to spruce up my intro/about me so here we go~

Hiya, I'm Jujy! I'm active in a lot of places. My home base is definitely AO3.
I also have a main multifandom tumblr blog here as well as my writeblog, here.
My first fanfic home was Fanfiction.net, which I maintain for nostalgia and AO3 mirroring (everything except the handful of RPF I've written).
I have a Pillowfort, where I'm about as active as I am on DW, but yeah...
There are a few Tumblr-exclusive pieces (that i'll maybe possibly eventually port over), but for the most part you can find all my fic in all those places. now... about porting to DW.... that's quite daunting given my large body of work ^_^

Now, about me! I'm an older millennial cis woman, bi-pan-queer, and disabled-- hemiplegic cerebral palsy from being a preemie (ask me anything, I don't bite). Disability rights are human rights, a-spec folks belong in queer spaces, trans lives & Black Lives and intersectionality matter. I've been a sporadic fanficcer since 2002-ish, and have a couple hundred fandoms in a combination of active, semi-active, "someday I'll create for these", and "dead but I'm keeping them". With a lot of overlap, ahaha. I use tildes and emojis all the damn time, I'm a 30-plus YO college student (graduating May 2022 whaaaaaat), love all kinds of music (yes I do lke BTS but also talk to me about CHVRCHES, Keane, IAMX, or Imogen Heap. or a metric heck-ton of others). I'm also a BIG GAMER(tm)-- Genshin baby, everything Nintendo especially Metroid, and a newbie VR user. 

I'm multishipping, polyshipping, crackshipping, rareshipping trash. My most active fandoms are currently:
Fruits Basket, where I'm always looking for recruits to the best OT3 of all time, Yukyoru (Kyo x Tohru x Yuki)
To the Moon series, which I love wholeheartedly but also threw myself into rare OT4 hell over (hiya compacri~)
Undertale/Deltarune, where the twin polyships of Chariskriel and Krusei (and OT4 with Noelle) take up all of my brainspace (but also MettaMuffet).
other perennial favs are Chihayafuru, Noragami, and strictly AU Attack On Titan (I perceive certain characters and completely ignore everything else).
but. seriously. I have SO MANY FANDOMS just ask!!!
